About the event

This talk will change the way you think about math. The Speaker, one of the world's most famous math professors, will start from an activity which combines human psychology and math, to show how creative mathematical analysis has the power to predict and even change human behavior. He will then switch to tell behind-the-scenes stories from his own experience turning pure mathematics into inventions that solve population-scale problems. This talk is designed to be attractive, entertaining, and inspiring.
