About the event
Keynote Speaker
Prakash Mahbubani
Born and bred in Hong Kong, Prakash Mahbubani calls this vibrant metropolis his home. His father arrived in Hong Kong in the mid-1950s and has established their family with a rich Indian heritage spanning three generations here. The family business of construction hardware began in the late 1960s, and Prakash has been an integral part of it for more than 30 years. He speaks fluent Cantonese, and runs his own Family Office, managing a wide portfolio of investments.
Giving back to society is an important part of his life, as Prakash is involved in various NGOs in different areas such as underprivileged children, the elderly, cancer survivors, and the homeless.
Please join us as Prakash shares his passions for finance, food, philanthropy, family, and the future, all of which are part of his journey in this dynamic city of Hong Kong.

Lau Ping Cheung
LAU Ping Cheung, a chartered surveyor by profession, is a past president and a current fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors. He is also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Coalition of Professional Services, and served as a former member of the HKSAR Legislative Council, the HKSAR Economic Development Commission, the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee, and the Lantau Development Advisory Committee, and a former independent non-executive director of MTR Corporation Limited.
